Megazone Cloud, a clouding company, and Terra Quantum, the Switzerland quantum computing service company, signed a quantum computing technology development agreement on the 21st.
Through this agreement, the two companies will develop a ‘Quantum cloud service’ that provides quantum algorithms and application platforms in cloud form, which can be utilized in various fields such as financial services, manufacturing, weather forecasting, and smart cities.
Markus Pflitsch, CEO of Terra Quantum, stated, “This collaboration will play a crucial role in enabling more global companies and institutions to utilize quantum computing technology. By combining Terra Quantum’s expertise in quantum software with Megazone Cloud’s cloud solution, we will lead the creation of value through quantum computing in Korea and the Asian region.”
Max Lee, CEO of Megazone Cloud, said, “We aim to accelerate innovation in quantum computing to provide better services and solutions. We expect to expand the commercialization of quantum computing and its applicability in various industries.”
