Overview of Quantum Technology Research
At Kyungpook National University, we are trying to educate the next generation of physicists in preparation for the era of quantum science and technology. We are currently working on theoretical aspects of quantum sensing and quantum simulations in collaboration with both domestic and international research groups. In order to provide a better educational environment for graduate students, we are also planning to establish an experimental group in the near future

Overall research theme : We are a theoretical group working on quantum optics, quantum technology and open quantum systems. Our main focus is on practical quantum technologies using quantum optical techniques, such as quantum sensing and quantum simulations. We also work on issues surrounding open quantum systems such as quantizing nonlinear oscillator models.
